We spent New Years Day watching the parade, playing games, eating food... pretty much what we'd been doing the last month or so! We went out to eat with Dad and Jeanette at a lovely little Thai place and ate some yummy coconut soup, spring rolls, massaman, etc. Delish!
Later that evening, James brought Lilah to me and said, "She has a tooth!" I didn't believe him because she's only 4 months old! But sure enough, there it was, bottom left! It's so little and she looks even cuter when she smiles now, if you can believe it!
A week later, her bottom right tooth popped through! She gnawed a piece of broccoli stem to pieces the other night at dinner and now she just wants everything we eat!
But I've read a lot about the benefits of waiting to start babies on solid foods because they don't really need them until at least 6 months. So now I don't know what to do! We're just letting her suck on various fruits and veggies for now and she loves it! Don't grow up too fast, little Lilah!!!

SO cute, and such wonderful pictures. Thanks as always for sharing them with us. And yes, she's way precocious, but with parents like she has, what else do you expect?

Much love, always, for our long, lithe, lanky, little Lilah (that would make a great song chorus, don't you think?)
Oh, and Jeanette just said, "double dentition...it's so awesome! Oh my gosh! What does it mean?!?!?!"
