Ethan's been gone since the beginning of June! He goes up to Ohio to be with his dad and family for a month each summer and he has a great time. But we miss him lots! Almost every day Lilah says, "And then we go pick up Ethie?" If the doorbell rings, she says, "Ethan!!" and runs to get it. I think it's very sweet that she misses him so much. We've been skyping and talking to him lots on the phone, but we will be so happy to pick him up Friday!!!
The first thing he wanted to do this summer before he left was have a lemonade stand. He did most the work... found a box, tablecloth, made signs, and helped squeeze lemons for lemonade and make chocolate chip cookies with James. It was a cloudy, overcast day, but he was so determined and enthusiastic and somehow managed to sell out in just a few hours! He was flagging people down in cars, knocking on friend's doors, and talking to everyone he could see. This kid is a born salesguy, I think :)
